Your Library Card

Residents of Richland and the surrounding area may apply for a library card free of charge after presenting a picture I.D. with a current address and telephone number.  If a child is under 14-years-old, a parent or guardian must sign the application card and assume responsibility for all materials charged on the card.

The Richland Public Library will not judge or control the circulation of material to children.  Parents or guardians must assume responsibility of supervising their children's material usage.

Check out limits:  A limit of three items per household may be checked out the first time.  After the initial checkout, there is a limit of ten items per household.  A household may return items and renew others, but may not go over ten items out at one time.

If a household has any overdue items, nothing may be checked out until all items have been returned or replaced, and all fines paid.

Items may be renewed over the phone, at the library, on the online catalog or by e-mail.
